Job Description:
The engineering team manages various suppliers in the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of 10 complex blast/containment Door packages. The project is a dynamic environment and the role identified here will be a mix of management, mechanical technical problem solving, investigation and authoring reports.
The role will require a competent self-starter, who is looking for a challenge and has a focus on completion and organisation. The role will be supported by a Design Manager to give direction, but the candidate will need to independently complete tasks efficiently, to maintain the project programme.
The role can have the flexibility to offer a range of development opportunities, but primarily the project engineer requires engineering management interest.
Key responsibilities:
· Supporting the Manufacturing, Construction and Commissioning processes by representing Engineering
· Authoring and responding to Design Change Notes, Technical Queries, Concessions, Commissioning Reservations
· Authoring Technical Notes/Assessments
· Requirements Management and Traceability
· Reservation Management
· Inspection and Test Plan Reviewing
· Progressing Documentation through Document Management System D2
· Resolving Manufacturing, Installation and Commissioning Challenges with the support of the Design Manager.
· Assisting with the Certification of Design process
· Reviewing drawings
· Attendings meetings with suppliers
· Stakeholder management
· Coordinating the development of Operation and Maintenance Manuals with the Supply Chain and stakeholders
