Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 plus package - based upon experience  

 

 

Company Information: This is an exciting opening to work for a Tier 1 Principal Contractor to Network Rail. My client specialises in working in Civil Engineering, Rail, Utilities and Forestry works. With a number of high-profile projects/frameworks secured my client is looking for a Commercial Manager to support their Rail and Civils Projects.  

 

Project Information: My client is looking for a Commercial Manager to Design, Lead and Manage the Commercial function the organisation. Primarily focussing on working on projects for Network Rail. As the main contractor, you the Commercial Manager will be involved in the Civils and Rail projects.  

 

Essential Experience:  

- Rail and Civils experience.  

- Main Contractor background  

- Experience and knowledge of relevant legislation  

- Understanding of Network Rail processes  

 

Role Details  

- Working within the delivery team you will be managing a number of projects  

- Undertaking paperwork to ensure compliance with Network Rail standards  

- Financial and Resource Management of Contracts  

- Pre and Post contract design
