Electrical Engineer - High Voltage Protection Systems, Belgium.
Applicants must be able to manage the various aspects relating to analysis and design of electrical protection systems.
This involves :
Analysis and evaluation of existing protection systems for electrical transmission and distribution grids, such as line protection, transformer protection, busbar protection, etc; Analysis of protection philosophies and schemes, protection coordination and adequacy of installed relays; Identify and report existing deficiencies; Study and draw relay setting and selectivity curves for different types of protection relays, e.g.
distance relays, overcurrent relays, differential relays, etc; Development of innovative concepts for design and operation of transmission and distribution protection systems.
Applicants are electrical or electro-mechanical engineers with at least 2 or 3 years experience in high voltage protection systems. You are fluent in English; knowledge of any other language is a bonus. You have proven experience in consultancy service and/or projects.
You are dynamic, creative, interested by high level expertise and team work. You are independent and have a sense of responsibility. You are flexible to travel for short missions abroad. Your have an advanced level in the Excel software.
