Commercial Gas Engineer/Supervisor - Kent / Sussex. c£37k + van + benefits.
Our client is a specialist engineering and building services company.
They are able to offer routine servicing, fault-finding services, installation and design & build on all types of burner/boiler combinations from a small commercial atmospheric boiler to industrial steam boilers. Due to the award of several new contracts they are looking to recruit mobile combustion engineer / Supervisor to work in and around the Kent and Sussex areas. Not London.
Applicants should have a good working knowledge of all types of oil burners/boilers and associated controls, additional qualifications and experience in Oil and LPG would be beneficial. Your role will chiefly involve the Supervision of other Gas Engineers on various sites around the Kent and Sussex area.
This role will require you to work partly as a mobile engineer undertaking maintenance and repairs to commercial boilers, carrying out servicing, fault-finding and general maintenance, but will also include all aspects of building services.
You must have a full working knowledge of industrial and commercial applications in this field, together with associated electrical and mechanical boilerhouse equipment. All applicants must have the relevant mandatory gas qualifications for commercial and industrial plant.
This role would suit someone that is looking to progress more into a Supervisory / Technical support role. Typically you will be 50% out on site and 50% Supervising / coordinating engineers so excellent planning and communications skills are very important.
