PROCESS DISCIPLINE MANAGER - Surrey, Staff
We are currently looking to source a Process Discipline Manager for our client, a market leading offshore EPC based in Surrey. Due to the nature and level of seniority of the role, it must be on a staff basis.
Fully developed, professional engineer with substantial experience and expertise.
Good knowledge of discipline codes of practice, standards and statutory documentation.
Solid grasp of discipline engineering practices and techniques.
Competent in planning, progress monitoring, forecasting and reporting of discipline projects.
Experienced in commercial, contractual and administrative aspects of discipline projects and engineering activities.
Experienced in leadership, control and supervision of a discipline engineering team.
Able to provide leadership for quality control/safety/environmental strategies and objectives.
Able to formulate long term general objectives and strategies for department and project benefit.
Capable of representing Company internally up to board level and externally to senior management level.
Capable of promoting innovation, departmental improvements and team working.
Skilled communicator in both written/spoken medium.
Generates respect from subordinates by right of technical expertise, track record and interpersonal skills.
In depth understanding and management of personnel issues.
Capable of harnessing the skills of subordinates in problem solving and objective selling in a co-operative team culture.
High subsidiary divisional profile.
Potential for advancement to director level management team member
Actively interested in business management, development and growth.
UK Bachelors Degree or equivalent in appropriate engineering subject. Preferred - Chartered Engineer and member of IChemE
