Senior Manager - Economic Modelling Team - Petroleum Services Group. My client is looking for someone to join their Petroleum Services Group (PSG) as a Senior Manager of the Economic Modelling team.
The Petroleum Services Group (PSG) is an Energy & Resources industry specialist Group which supports and leads the client’s assignments from London, Houston, Rio, Calgary, Singapore, Moscow, Sydney and Perth. This Group provides information solutions and advisory services to over 150 oil and gas companies, utilities, financial intermediaries and consultancies worldwide.
To reflect the continued development of the Group and their strong commitment to the Energy & Resources sector, the Petroleum Services Group is seeking a Senior Manager to coordinate their specialist economic modelling team.
Managing a team of three modellers, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Group's leading oil & gas commercial valuation tool, as well as building custom modelling solutions for leading oil and gas companies.
The team provides economic analysis advisory services and regularly works with other parts of the Company to carry out commercial assessments of international oil & gas assets. You will also have external contact with clients, managing engagements, providing technical assistance and supporting business development activities.

Lead commercial analysis and modelling advisory projects
Support Group-wide business development activities
Relevant industry experience in a commercial role either in an E&P company, investment bank or consulting practise.
Strong economic modelling skills and a sound understanding of discounted cash flow analysis.
Detailed experience of building large complex models using Microsoft Excel and some familiarity of the associated development technologies (VBA/VB.NET)
In depth knowledge of international oil and gas fiscal regimes
Proven team and project management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience of managing external relationships and business development would be an advantage
The role is primarily based at client’s London office, with occasional opportunities for national and international travel
SALARY PACKAGE: Market rate
