PDMS CAD Coordinators Surrey
We are currently looking to source an experienced PDMS Coordinator on a contract basis for our client a world leading EPC primarily in the offshore arena based in Surrey.
The PDMS Coordinator will be working on a large scale LNG project.
The main purpose of the role is to provide support in all aspects of 3D CAD administration and you will be primarily responsible for the PDMS Model Management for all projects.
You will Act as project 3D CAD coordinator.
Manage work to the required schedule with the allocated manpower and supervise day-to-day administration activities for the project.
Configure and maintain a multi-discipline PDMS project.
User training and support for PDMS and associated applications.
3D object reporting e.g. MTO element status etc.
PDMS data imports and exports.
PDMS administration and task scheduling.
Project work share administration where required.
Multi-discipline PDMS model hierarchy configuration ongoing evaluation and maintenance.
User training and support of PDMS and associated applications.
Implement PDMS Export output for our clients Weight CofG applications.
Implement Review model exports and attend project layout reviews.
Implement Clash Manager where required.
Configure standard PDMS MTO progress reports to suit project.
PDMS project administration and database maintenance.
Project piping and electrical isometric configuration.
Project process piping line data imports.
Scheduling of overnight administrative project tasks.
Project work share administration where required.
PDMS model is archived in accordance with our clients procedures.
Coordination with design personnel to ensure all of the design deliverables are prepared to our clients standards.
Liaison with and reporting to Piping Lead Designer.
Supervise 3D CAD systems configuration and database administration.
Responsible for implementation of QA for the discipline on the project.
Project QA audits will verify implementation. Assist the Piping Manager to prepare and issue department 3D documents.
HNC or equivalent in appropriate engineering subject.
Minimum 8 years post college experience 7 years oil and gas related experience preferred.
PDMS expert and database administration. Experience of 3D CAD coordination.
